Symptoms of Hyperuricemia

Hyperuricemia is a condition where the uric acid level in the blood is way above healthy range. This health complication is usually associated with an extremely painful kind of arthritis, which is known as gout.

As a matter of fact, gout is just one of the symptoms of hyperuricemia. When someone is having high uric acid problem for a long period of time, the uric acid can seep into the synovial fluid of the joint and when the concentration of the uric acid reaches the saturation point, the crystallization process will take place and the formation of those tiny fine urate crystals will trigger an immune inflammation that is known as gout.

Many people did not know they are having high blood uric acid level before they were attacked by the gout for the first time. It is usually after the painful gout attack that they go for a blood test which confirms their high uric acid problem.

Actually, there are a few symptoms of hyperuricemia one can notice long before the onset of the painful gouty inflammation. These are generally symptoms of acidosis that occur in his daily life if he pays attention to it.

  • Frequent Tiredness and Feel Sleepy Most of the Time

When there are too much of uric acid flooding around in the body, your body pH will drop significantly and this change of body pH reduces the efficiency of millions of biochemical reactions that happens in the body which eventually affects the overall vitality and energy level of the body.

  • Frequent Headache and Dizziness

When your blood become acidic and filled with excess amount positively charge ions that will oxidize the negative ions on the surface of the red blood cells and result in the coagulation of the blood cells which will cause the blood to become thick and dark. This will greatly reduce the ability of the blood to transport oxygen and nutrient to the high energy consumption cells such as the muscles and brain cells. When your brain does not get sufficient supply of oxygen and nutrients, it will send out warning signals in the form or headache or dizziness.

  • Decrease of Sexual Desire and Performance

Sexual desire and performance are closely related to the fluency of the blood flow and the co-reactions between multiple hormones or enzymes in the body. When your body condition is not in optimum level due to acidosis, those hormones and enzymes fail to do their job in stimulating your libido.

These are all indirect symptoms of hyperuricemia that even some of the doctors do not know. If you are experiencing from the above mentioned signs, you should start changing your diet and lifestyle to alkalize your body pH before you get your first gout attack.
